This article will take you through the process of transferring a .uk domain from another provider to RS Host. Transferring a .uk domain name is a fairly simple process and in most cases if fairly instant. There are a few steps to follow with your current domain provider to transfer the domain to RS Host.
To start off you will want to login to your RS Host Client Portal over at https://rshost.uk/login
Once signed in hover over My Domains on the left hand side and then choose Transfer A Domain To Us. This will open up the domain transfer window.
Enter your domain domain name into the search field and click on Transfer.
You will then be taken to the domains configuration page where you will be asked to enter your information for the domain. Once you have entered this information click on Continue at the bottom of the page.
Go through the checkout process for the domain name transfer. This will then put the domain into your client portal in a Pending Transfer state. What you then need to do is go to your current domain provider and update the IPS TAG with them. You will need to change your domain's IPS Tag to RSHOST
Please Note: While RS Host will never charge for .uk domain transfers and releases some provider may charge for this. Please ensure you check before trying to transfer a domain name.
Once you have changed the TAG on your domain it will shortly become active in the RS Host Client portal.
